ups expands international express services

UPS is expanding its international services by widening its network for Worldwide Express, Express Plus and Worldwide Express Freight deliveries.

The express services within key markets have been added to new post codes in 14 European countries and across Asia, the Americas and the Indian Subcontinent.

In the Middle East and Africa, UPS Worldwide Express is now available in Algeria, Namibia and Reunion, and UPS Worldwide Express Plus has come to Nigeria and Qatar.

Nando Cesarone, president of UPS International says: “By expanding the reach of our industry-leading express services, we’re better connecting our customers to where we see continued growth potential. Our time-sensitive services are faster, they speed up time-to-market in high-growth economies and they offer another way for our customers to optimise their cross-border supply chains.”

Jean-Francois Condamine, president of growth and emerging markets at UPS says: “Increasing the speed to market for our customers in emerging economies, especially small businesses, means that they are better positioned to compete on equal footing with competitors anywhere in the world.”

UPS Worldwide Express Freight for time-definite delivery of international palletised shipments is now available at nearly 8,000 post codes in 11 countries including Russia, Nigeria and Vietnam.
